Her tiny shoe, a pointe so neat
Balloon tied tight, a dancing feat

Puzzled Priscilla

Priscilla peers, with eyes so wide,
A little puzzle deep inside.

She tries to burn, to rise anew,
But just gets ashes, soft and few.
No fiery wings, no soaring flight,
Just smoky wisps and dimming light.

Poor birdie phoenix, small and lost,
What magic's gone, what is the cost?
She chirps a question with a sigh,

"Why can't I burn? Why can't I fly?"
